The Church That Cares For Your Soul

Boundaries

Deuteronomy 32:8 When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

Boundaries

God puts boundaries in our lives to protect us.  Instead we are often trying to go over walls we have no business going over.  God divided the nations up at Babel for a purpose.  It was so they could happily seek after him.  Instead, the world has become a melting pot.  The distinctions between man, woman, boy, girl, American, Japanese, etc. are constantly getting blended together.  When the lines become blurred, it becomes harder and harder to serve the Lord.  Instead of happily seeking the Lord, most people are cursing God and running away from Him.  We need to put boundaries or limits in our own lives.  Convictions are a good thing.  They set a limit where we are not to pass.  We need them if we are going to be happy in our walk with God.

Separating the Sons of Adam

God separated the sons of Adam.  He put distance between Shem, Ham and Japeth.  God is always dividing things up.  Borders are a way of protecting a nation.  When we let whoever wants to come into our country come in, we are going to be in trouble.  The heathen will always bring down the godly.  I would imagine a lot of the issues we have faced as a nation over the years is because we did not maintain the borders God established for us as a nation.  God wanted to keep the certain people and religions out but we let them in.  God wanted purity of His people Israel.  He drove out the heathen and wanted them to even divide up by tribe.  He wanted family purity too.  God wants a people separated unto Himself.  Boundaries are good because God likes clean.  Convictions are what separates us too from the heathen.  Do you have any boundaries in your life?
