A People Who Did Not Know God

Psalms 18:43-44 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me. As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

A People Who Did Not Know God

Because the nation of Israel decided they did not want Jesus Christ for the time being, a people who did not know God were able to get saved.  You and I were strangers and aliens to the things of God before we got saved.  It does not matter what kind of “religion” or “church” you were brought up in, you were a lost heathen without a true Bible knowledge of God and salvation through Jesus Christ.

The Head of the Heathen

Christ is now the head of the heathen.  He came unto his own and his own would not receive him.  Instead he has come to us Gentiles. We are a people who knew nothing of the God of the Bible.  The Bible was given through the Jew.  They gave us the scriptures.  That is how you know the Book of Mormon is a bunch of junk.  It was not written by a Jew (unless Joseph Smith is now a Jewish name).  We know have the oracles of God and the Lord has revealed to us Gentiles in the last days the Word of God.  Thank the Lord for salvation for a people who did not know God.
