Psalms 8:4. What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Sometimes you wonder why God would even bother messing with sinful man. We messed up His world by disobeying Him and getting into sin. We cost Him his son, the Lord Jesus Christ. We have done nothing but bring sin and shame to this world and slowly destroy it. What is man, that God would even think about us? The answer is, we obviously meant a whole lot to God. He wanted our fellowship. God needed us in a sense. He created man to bring himself pleasure. We could not do that by living in sin. God needed a solution to bring his creation back in line with His intentions.
God visited us when He sent His son to die on the cross of Calvary. He then visits the hearts of men, women, boys, and girls as he asks them to be saved. He wants to restore the fellowship that was broken in the garden. He still wants to see everyone saved. He is so mindful of man that He wants to see every single human being saved. He does not want one single person to perish in hell. He has you on his mind today.
When you got saved, the Lord still had you on his mind. He ever watches over all of us who are his own. He cares about us. He meets our needs. He wants us to grow close to him. He is thinking about you this very moment. He does not forget his own. I thank the Lord that he really thinks about us and visits us each and every day. How humbling is it that the God of universe looks down, thinks about us, and visits us regularly. He comes to our church services. He fellowships with us throughout the day. What a privilege we have to serve a God like that.
