Habakkuk 1:3-4 Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.

Lawless Rules The Land

When lawlessness rules a land as long as America has been heading downhill, there is going to be spoiling, violence, strife, contention, and a lack of judgment.  The courts in America are bent on trying to avoid enforcing the laws of our land, especially when it is in line with whatever kind of wickedness they are trying to promote.  Habakkuk was getting tired of seeing all the sin and iniquity that was around him.  Christian, if you are comfortable in this world, something is wrong with your heart.  If you are not grieved by the sin and wickedness around you, but rather you partake of it and fit in with the world, you are heading in the direction that is opposite of what God wants of you.

Calling Evil Good, and Good Evil

We are in a day when evil is called good, and good is called evil.  Few know the Bible and have a correct view of what is right and wrong.  Instead, most people get their view of right and wrong from Hollywood, the news media, the education system, or some other “god” that has replaced the God of Israel.  When that happens, the only possible outcome is going to be wrong judgment.  It is so important as Christians that we get our world view from the Bible and not political commentators.  The way to heaven is a narrow way and there is never going to be many on the celestial pathway.  When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice and are happy.  When the wicked bear rule, the people are going to mourn and be depressed.

A Loud Trump

The Lord will, one day, come back and fix this mess.  Until then, we, as good Christians, must endure hardness as good soldiers.  We are not going to usher in the kingdom of heaven by trying to fix all the wickedness.  Revival will only happen one heart, one individual at a time.  We must try to win the lost and the fire will spread in God’s time.  There will continue to be strife and contention until our Lord comes back.  That is just the way it is going to be.  We must learn to live through it, by the grace of God.  The fight is only going to get worse, not better, before Jesus shows up.  A loud trump is all it will take to fix the problems of today.  Man will continue to tear down the laws of God.  Liberals will continue to fight for more and more change of God’s righteous laws, they will always be given to change.  Satan wanted change in heaven when he took over and got tired of God’s way.  Continue to look up for your redemption draws closer and closer every day.
