2 Chronicles 16:9. For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
The eyes of the Lord watch for you, no matter where you are, or what you are doing. God looks out for us. When we have a heart that is perfect toward him, he will be strong for us. He will take care of us. Asa, the king of Judah, did not want to trust in the Lord. Instead, he chose the worldly Syrians. He could have had God’s blessing on his life, but instead he tried to trust in the ways of the world.
It is important as Christians that we have faith in God. We need to believe that God can deliver us and get us through the battles of life. Unbelief will cause you to try the ways of the world for deliverance rather than just counting on God. Asa ended up dying early because of his unbelief. Your unbelief is going to cause you to lose blessings. It is a foolish decision to not trust God.
The Lord often wants us to step out by faith and believe that he can. The Lord is looking throughout the whole earth for people who will trust him. When he finds them, he will be there for them. He will get glory and honor. He is going to show himself strong. We often doubt God that he can do the extreme. We get inspired by missionary stories of great things that God has done. However, we often fail to let God work in our lives in a similar way. God is looking for someone to trust Him to deliver them. Is that someone going to be you?
