Proverbs 28:2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.

A Lot of Princes

There are a lot of princes in America today.  Everyone wants to control things in the political circle.  When there is transgression and sin in a land, there are going to be a lot of people looking out for themselves.  The politicians are the only one who seem to come out on top.  When the righteous are in authority, they are more concerned about the people they served than being served themselves.  We really need a man of understanding and knowledge that will help to prolong these United States of America just a little longer.  We need a nationwide revival.  I am not sure it is going to happen, but we should still seek it.

Prolonging the State

The best case scenario for America is likely that this nation is preserved a little longer before Jesus comes back.  Prolonging the inevitable fall of America is the goal.  We need a man of understanding and wisdom.  I am not sure there is going to such a man, but we should pray for those who are in authority that we can lead a quiet and peacable life.  Sooner or later, martyrdom is going to become reality for Christians before the Lord comes back.  I am not sure we are quite as ready for that as some people think.  The average Christian today can hardly get themselves to church on Sunday.  What do you think is going to happen when they are put to the test?  They will cave with the anti-Christ.  It sure would be a blessing to see this country prolonged and a little revival.  All these princes are certainly not helping things in this land of transgression.
