Acts 4:12 – Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Philippians 2:10 – That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

There is something in a name.  We call it name recognition.  They are very important.  Having a good name or reputation is important.  The name of Jesus Christ is very important.  It is the only name that will save a soul from hell.  Buddha can’t save. Muhammad can’t save. Confucius can’t save. Only the name of Jesus will work.

Jesus Christ has a name built on a life of sinless perfection.  He was God manifest in the flesh.  He took my sin debt I could never pay.  Before we were saved we had a pretty bad name.  We life of sin and shame. A life of trusting ourselves to get to heaven.  I would rather trust in Lord since he is the only one worth living for.  Thank God for the Lord Jesus Christ.  Praise the Lord for all that he has done for us.  One day every knee is going to bow to him.  It does not matter your station or position.  We will all one day honor him.  All of heaven will be talking of Jesus Christ.  What about you.  Will you talk about him today?
