Coming Into the Hand of Your Friend
We come into the hand of our friend when they “have the upper hand” over us. When they could crush us or destroy us because of what they know about us or what we have done to them, we need to humble ourselves before them and let them know they are right and that we deserve far worse than whatever they think. Your are at the mercy of your friend. You have wronged them and you need to get right. Instead, most people will do the exact opposite. Pride will cause them to try and justify their sin and then blame their friend for it. That is not the way to get right. That is how friendships are destroyed.
